logo changes

What significant changes has your logo gone through?

-I added words and made the face better
Why did you make these changes?

-Because during feedback I was told to either have words or not have words, so I added words.
How much more work needs to go into the logo? What more do you need to do? (Please check criteria)

-I need to put it into photoshop, but still do a few more things on paper. I still need to experiment a little.
What questions do you have?

-none

Quarter 3 Self Assesment

Quarter 3 self assessment

What are you most proud of? What do you think are your strengths?

-I am most proud of the tessellations that I did. Those were my two highest grades for the quarter, and I actually felt like I knew half of what to do on the computer. My strengths in this class wouldn’t be much, because I really don’t know that much about photoshop.
What would you like to do better and/or focus upon for Quarter four?

-I would like to improve upon my skills with the drawing tools in photoshop and also just learning how to do little things like use the magic wand a little better that I don’t know.
How will you make this happen?

-I will ask more questions when I need some help, and be sure to care a little more, but with me being behind in all of my other classes I just didn’t have much time to work on art. Also I think that being here a little more next quarter would help with my quality of work and everything I just mentioned to.

Logo

1.You must design a logo that is describable, a logo that is memorizable, a logo that is effective without color, and one that is effective when scaled down to about an inch or so.
2.Also, before you design the logo you must understand it. You need to know what a logo is supposed to do and how to make it stand out. It is not just a mark, it reflects a whole company with how the logo is made. Its important to know how to make one.
3.A logo should be pretty simple, yet it should convey the point and the companies name when you look at it. For example McDonalds. Its logo is the two arches making the M. You know right when you see it that its McDonalds because its a big M.
4.You also need to learn from your mistakes in order to make a good logo. You should know what you did wrong and learn from it to make it better. This could take a few times until you get what you want.
5.The last thing you need to know is how to use the programs and software needed to create your logo. There is a lot of technology involved and without any knowledge of it then you will never be successful in creating a good logo.
